Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team, offering a $15,000 sign-on incentive for qualified candidates. As an RN in our fast-paced Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and critical conditions. You will perform rapid assessments, triage patients based on acuity, initiate and implement evidence-based nursing interventions, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and continuously monitor patient responses to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. Working closely with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, technicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team, you will collaborate to develop and carry out individualized plans of care while maintaining clear and concise communication with patients and their families. This role requires strong critical care and emergency nursing skills, including proficiency in IV therapy, cardiac and rhythm monitoring, management of hemodynamically unstable patients, and the ability to respond effectively to codes, trauma activations, and other life‑threatening situations. You will be expected to use sound clinical judgment, prioritize multiple competing demands, and remain calm and focused under pressure.
