Senior Supervising Social Worker

Position: Senior Supervising Social Worker (12-month fixed term)
Salary: Up to £40,081.10 per annum (dependent on experience)

This is a home-based position with occasional travel to Peterborough for team meetings and support groups. You will also visit foster families in their homes and attend regional events in Sheffield.

• Support foster parents to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in care.
• Supervise and monitor the suitability and competence of foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• Provide regular supervision in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
• Collaborate with the child's network to identify needs and provide necessary support.
• Ensure compliance with documentation for each child and foster parent.
• Attend meetings and provide reports for Commissioning Teams.
• Encourage participation of children in agency development and community resources.
• Participate in an out-of-hours support service on a rota basis.
• Conduct initial home visits and Form F Assessments as needed.

• A Social Work qualification
• Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
• Strong report writing skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
• Willingness to travel across the Leicestershire/Peterborough/Lincs area
• A full driving licence
