We have exciting opportunities for Site Managers in Northern Scotland, where you will play a crucial role in delivering Green Recovery substation construction and maintenance works across the SSE North DNO region.

As a Site Manager, you will not only lead a dedicated team but also be hands-on in installing and constructing electrical power distribution and transmission systems ranging from 400V to 132kV. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver safe, profitable, and high-quality networks that meet our customers' needs while promoting our company positively.

• Supervise and manage the installation of ground-mounted and structure-mounted power system components, including cable systems, switchgear, transformers, and more, in substations operating at up to 132kV.
• Prepare and maintain site Health & Safety records.
• Order materials and manage site logistics.
• Monitor, report, and forecast site progress effectively.
• Engage with customer representatives both on-site and off-site.
• Participate in hands-on work as needed (potentially full-time).

• Significant experience working on HV substation sites.
• Proven ability to supervise staff and subcontractors.
• Electrically qualified with the capability to work on HV equipment.
• SMSTS qualified.
• Must hold SSE authorisations (CAT 1, CAT 2 & CAT 3).
