Application Sales Engineer I

* Prepare quotations for standard robot systems (robot only, robot + riser, predefined configurations) * Ensure pricing accuracy and margin compliance * Maintain high quote turnaround time * Validate system configurations prior to order release
Commercial Ownership
* Review and validate incoming customer orders * Coordinate internally to confirm production and ship dates * Communicate confirmed shipment timelines to Sales and customers * Track shipment release and provide status updates as needed * Ensure smooth handoff between Sales, Operations, and Shipping
Sales Support
* Serve as primary technical contact for standard system offerings * Respond to configuration and product-related questions * Provide documentation and product clarification to Sales
What This Role Is Not
* Not custom automation design * Not engineered layout development * Not end-of-arm-tooling design * Not installation scheduling * Not production problem ownership
More complex or custom systems are handled by senior application engineers. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent technical experience) * 2-5 years of experience in automation, robotics, manufacturing, or technical sales support * Strong mechanical and/or automation aptitude * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Comfortable working cross-functionally * ERP or CRM system experience preferred * Strong communication skills
