We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented *Data Coordinator *to join our team on an 8-month fixed term contract.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with 1 day WFH, based in Vaughan House, Winchester.
Offering up to £30,000 per annum (pro rata for the FTC) depending on experience.
*Role Overview*
The role will provide vital support to enable the successful implementation of a new central ERP system through migration of accurate data. You will be responsible for collating, cleansing, validating, and updating business‑critical data from two existing ERP systems (DataFile in the UK and Sage in the US), with a strong focus on Customer and Product data.
The ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, be a confident communicator working with a variety of stakeholders and be ready to roll their sleeves up with an incredible attention for detail to support this business critical project.
*Key Responsibilities*
_Data Collation & Cleansing_
* Extract, collate, and consolidate data from two legacy ERP systems into agreed migration templates.
* Cleanse data by identifying and resolving duplicates, errors, inconsistencies, and gaps.
* Manage and maintain product master data, including: Product hierarchies and classifications, Product descriptions, attributes, and compliance‑related fields.
* Manage and maintain customer master data, such as: Customer records and hierarchies, contact names, addresses, billing and shipping details, Payment terms, price line, currency and applicable tax data.
* When necessary, contact customers to verify data held.
* Identify and remove duplications and redundant data/customers.
* Verify and correct Customer Type.
_Data Validation & Quality Assurance_
* Validate product and customer data against agreed data standards and business rules ensuring all fields required are populated accurately and consistently.
* Work with stakeholders to confirm correct product categorisation, customs information, and customer details.
* Reconcile data between source systems and target requirements to ensure migration accuracy.
* Maintain clear audit trails and documentation for all data amendments.
_Stakeholder Liaison_
* Liaise with relevant departments; design, sales, finance, merchandising, purchasing, production and IT to resolve data issues as required.
_ERP Migration Support_
* Prepare validated datasets for upload into the new ERP system.
* Support data testing, reconciliation, and user acceptance testing activities.
* Track data readiness, issues, and dependencies against agreed project timelines.
*Knowledge & Skills*
_Essential_
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. filters, lookups, data validation, pivot tables).
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Logical thinker with ability to identify data inconsistencies across a wide data set and resolve within the prescribed data template.
* Experience working with structured data sets.
* Confident communicator able to work with stakeholders (both internal and external) across different regions/countries.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet fixed project deadlines.
_Desirable_
* Experience supporting ERP implementations or data migration projects..
* Familiarity with product hierarchies.
* Experience working with customer master data.
* Understanding of data governance or master data management principles.
* Previous experience in an administrative, data, or systems support role or experience working with data sets.
* Educated to A‑Level standard (or equivalent) or above; qualifications in business, data, or IT are a plus.
