- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on semi trailers, industrial equipment, and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair and replace faulty parts, components, or systems, such as brakes, bearings, lighting, body.
- Align and balance wheels and tires on tractor-trailers and other heavy-duty vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of repair techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, electrical systems, and other components of industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
