W. W. Norton & Company, Inc., seeks an exceptional candidate with four or more years of book publicity experience to spearhead campaigns for a range of adult trade titles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills, a track record of impressive results, an aptitude for quick, thorough, and effective research, a demonstrated interest in subject areas noted above, and an ability to juggle projects simultaneously with an attention to detail. Essential Job Responsibilities: Creating and executing strategic plans and pitches Developing effective outreach and follow-up to print, online, broadcast, podcast, influencer, and other media Arranging and promoting author events Collaborating daily with publicity, marketing, editorial, and other colleagues Placing op-eds, essays, and excepts Other departmental responsibilities
Please note- this job description is not designed to cover all activities required of the employee. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Employment eligibility to work with W.W. Norton & Company in the US Availability to work full business hours. Ability to work from Norton’s New York City headquarters. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. 4-6 years of book publicity experience
Compensation and Benefits
* Currently available benefits include: Annual compensation for this position is $70,000-$80,000. All salaries and salary ranges posted by Norton may vary depending on experience, skills, location, and like considerations.
