Avionics System Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Avionics System Engineer to join a leading engineering company that designs electronic systems for aerospace and defence applications.

The main purpose of this role will be responsible for working closely with internal and external customers to understand and deliver on system-level requirements.

• Manage system and component level specifications and design documents.
• Ensure compliance with agreed specifications as well as industry standards and regulations.
• Work with the design engineering team to prove and qualify avionic products.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven background in developing avionics in an aerospace environment (civil or military).
• A knowledge and appreciation of System Engineering lifecycle.
• Experience in creating and editing systems documentation.
