Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Full-Time Opportunity with Excellent Benefits

A respected, patient-focused private dental office in Etters, PA is looking to add a full-time Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to our growing team. We’re seeking a skilled and dependable professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and thrives in a collaborative, upbeat workplace.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working chairside, building connections with patients, and being part of a team that genuinely supports one another. We also have a friendly therapy dog who stops by the office regularly, so being comfortable around dogs is important.

Work Schedule (Full-Time)

• Monday–Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (6:30 AM start)
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (7:30 AM start)
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6:30 AM start)

Qualifications

• Valid EFDA certification
• Active X-ray certification (required)
• Prior experience in an EFDA role
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random testing
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus

• Hourly pay up to $35, depending on experience and credentials
