In this role, you will evaluate patients with a variety of orthopedic, post-surgical, and musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, and appropriate modalities. You will work closely with referring providers, our specialized hand therapy team, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes.
You will be responsible for performing thorough examinations, setting functional and measurable goals, progressing treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and patient response, and providing clear education to patients and their families about diagnosis, home exercise programs, and long-term management strategies. Accurate, timely documentation in our electronic medical record system and the use of outcome measures to track patient progress are essential components of the position.
