We are seeking an experienced *Retail Systems & Operations Manager* to lead the implementation and ongoing optimization of our new POS and inventory platform.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for aligning *store operations, inventory management, purchasing, and reporting systems* across multiple departments including grocery, produce, café, bakery, and prepared foods.
You will act as the bridge between *technology and daily operations*, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability across the business.
*Key ResponsibilitiesSystems Implementation & Management*
* Lead full rollout and configuration of Vori POS, inventory, and purchasing systems
* Translate current workflows into system processes (receiving, transfers, production, shrink)
* Maintain SKU structure, pricing logic, and category hierarchy
*Operations Integration*
* Align all internal departments (Produce, Meat, Café, Bakery, Grocery) with standardized processes
* Implement and manage internal transfers between departments
* Ensure accurate cost tracking and margin visibility
*Inventory & Financial Control*
* Monitor inventory accuracy, shrink, and waste
* Validate vendor invoices and cost updates
* Maintain real-time margin tracking across categories
*Training & Team Development*
* Train managers and staff on POS, inventory, and operational workflows
* Develop SOPs and enforce compliance across departments
* Support team adoption and ongoing system usage
*Reporting & Performance*
* Generate and analyze reports (sales, margins, shrink, department performance)
* Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements
* Support leadership with actionable insights
*Required Qualifications*
* 5+ years experience in *grocery, food retail, or high-volume retail operations*(H-E-B, Whole Foods, Sprouts, or similar)
* Proven experience with POS systems (e.g., Toast, NCR, Clover, or similar)
* Strong background in *inventory management and purchasing*
* Experience managing *SKU structures, pricing, and category organization*
* Understanding of *margin control, cost tracking, and shrink management*
* Ability to train teams and implement operational processes
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience with system migrations or POS transitions
* Experience in multi-department retail environments (grocery + food service)
* Familiarity with perishables (produce, meat, prepared foods)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay: $48,934.00 - $58,931.27 per year
