A fast-paced, technology-driven trading organization is seeking a skilled Python Engineer to join its development team. The firm specializes in designing and implementing advanced trading strategies across multiple markets and asset classes. The environment is highly collaborative, with engineers working closely alongside quantitative researchers, traders, and analysts to deliver innovative and scalable solutions. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance core software systems that support trading, analytics, and research workflows. Collaborate with quantitative and trading teams to build tools and applications that improve speed, scalability, and performance. Take ownership of end-to-end projects, from concept through deployment, in a Linux-based environment. Continuously improve system reliability, adaptability, and efficiency through thoughtful engineering and problem-solving. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of professional Python development experience in a production setting. Strong proficiency with Python in Linux environments. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). Clear and effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
