In this role, you will offer individual and, when appropriate, group counseling to adults and adolescents with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns. You will conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses using DSM-5 criteria, and develop collaborative treatment plans grounded in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care. You will monitor client progress, adjust interventions as needed, and coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure holistic, integrated treatment.
You will be responsible for maintaining organized, timely, and compliant documentation in Rula Health’s electronic health record system, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. The position involves working within a hybrid care model, combining in-person sessions with secure telehealth services. You will employ strong clinical judgment and crisis-management skills, conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and referrals for higher levels of care when indicated, all while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
