CK Pharmacy – McPherson, KS
McPherson, Kansas
Full-time preferred; part-time may be considered for the right candidate
Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
CK Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy in McPherson, Kansas. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist who values patient relationships, personalized care, and long-term professional growth in a community-focused setting.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a pharmacy that serves its community with a high level of service, professionalism, and personal attention. For the right candidate, this role offers leadership development, mentorship, and long-term potential.
Pharmacy Manager or PIC experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Training and guidance will be provided, and this position may offer a path toward leadership and future pharmacy ownership for someone interested in long-term growth.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
* Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, adherence, and safety
* Communicate with prescribers to clarify prescription details when needed
* Oversee daily pharmacy workflow and support efficient operations
* Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates
* Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, including controlled substances
* Help supervise, train, and support pharmacy staff
* Assist with scheduling and workflow management
* Address patient questions and resolve concerns professionally and compassionately
* Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment
* Build strong relationships with patients, providers, and the local community
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program
* Active Kansas pharmacist license, or ability to obtain
* Pharmacy Manager, PIC, or leadership experience preferred, but not required
* Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and controlled substance requirements
* Experience with pharmacy systems; PioneerRx experience preferred
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
* Interest in long-term growth in community pharmacy
