Position Summary
WLR Automotive Group is seeking a Project Coordinator & Product Owner to support the implementation, administration, and ongoing operation of business software and AI-enabled systems across the organization.
Reporting to the AI Strategy and Applications department head, this role executes leadership-approved initiatives by serving as the day-to-day product owner, managing system administration, and coordinating vendors and internal teams to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone early in their career who is highly organized, technically capable, and comfortable taking ownership of systems once decisions are made and initiatives are approved.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Delivery
* Coordinate implementation of approved software and AI initiatives from kickoff through go-live.
* Track timelines, tasks, risks, dependencies, and action-item follow-ups across vendors and stakeholders.
* Maintain project documentation (notes, status updates, and decision logs).
Product Ownership (Execution-Focused)
* Serve as the day-to-day product owner for assigned systems once implemented.
* Translate defined business needs into system configuration, workflows, and backlog items.
* Manage change requests, enhancements, and minor optimizations within agreed scope.
* Act as the primary internal point of contact for supported platforms.
Note: Product strategy, prioritization, and roadmap direction are set by leadership; this role owns execution and ongoing system health.
System Administration & Software Ownership
* Maintain administrative ownership of business software platforms.
* Manage user access, roles, permissions, and baseline security settings.
* Perform configuration updates, routine maintenance, and monitoring.
* Coordinate issue resolution, upgrades, and support requests.
* Keep systems organized, documented, and operationally sound.
Vendor Coordination & Relationship Management
* Coordinate implementations, support, and follow-ups with software vendors.
* Schedule vendor meetings and track responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines.
* Hold vendors accountable; escalate risks or blockers to leadership as appropriate.
Cross-Functional Enablement & Documentation
* Support departments through onboarding, training, and change communications for new systems.
* Maintain documentation (SOPs, workflows, user guides, and handoff materials).
Qualifications
Required
* 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, IT support, business systems, or SaaS operations.
* Strong organizational skills, documentation habits, and follow-through.
* Comfort working with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.
* High technical aptitude and ability to learn systems quickly.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* Exposure to SaaS implementations or system administration.
* Familiarity with project tracking tools (Monday.com, Asana, Jira, etc.).
* Working knowledge of product ownership and/or Agile concepts.
* Interest in AI-enabled business tools and automation.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
