The Software Quality Assurance Engineer II develops, modifies, and executes software test strategies, plans and suites. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with Engineering in resolution Responsibilities
Evaluates and executes testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Develops and writes testing scripts and plans to ensure that software functions as expected. Prepares complex data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures. Communicates with team members about test status and issue resolution Solid knowledge in software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies May lead and direct the work of projects and/or others. Responsible for planning and managing tasks across multiple projects with little direction Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Expected to participate in process improvement and quality assurance standard. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 4 years of professional experience delivering software applications EOE Minorities/Women/Disabled/Veterans Federal Contractor
