Physician Assistant or Nurse-Practitioner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality women's health patient care under the supervision of our group's licensed physicians. This position offers the opportunity to combine primary care, gyn specialty, obstetrical care, and surgical experience across the spectrum of women's health.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive medical care to patients across different age groups and medical conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care
- Manage inpatient care including monitoring progress and updating treatment plans
- Conduct data collection, analysis, and documentation of patient information
- Offer health coaching and education to patients on disease prevention and management
Skills:
- Proficiency in internal medicine and women's health.
- Experience in basic women's health procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon placement, skin biopsy, EMB.
- Experience in prenatal care preferred.
- Ability to perform medication administration
- Experience in outpatient care settings and conducting health assessments
- Strong data collection and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
