Full-time Location: Cupertino, CA Background: Role Title Gen Ai Architect Summary We’re looking for a System QA Automation Engineer with strong AI focus to drive quality, reliability, and innovation across battery‑powered products at scale. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role working at the intersection of System validation (Like Battery, Thermal, Video, Camera, VR), automation, and AI‑driven engineering tools. You’ll collaborate closely with Hardware, Firmware, Systems, and AI teams, own end‑to‑end validation, and help build enterprise‑grade, agentic AI automation solutions that improve test efficiency, insight, and decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Own end‑to‑end System validation including functional, performance, and reliability testing in Lab Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across product lifecycles Operate and support test labs (setup, maintenance, troubleshooting) Perform initial triage, failure analysis, and debugging of test issues Build and enhance Python‑based automation frameworks, test utilities, and analysis tools Apply Generative AI, AI agents, and agentic automation to accelerate testing, triage, and reporting Architect and deploy AI‑powered SQA tools used by engineering teams Analyze large‑scale test data and present clear, data‑driven insights to stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications B.S./M.S. in CS / EE with 3+ years of experience in QA Automation, battery validation, hardware or embedded systems testing Strong Python skills for automation and data analysis Experience working in lab‑based, hardware‑dependent test environments Proven ability to debug complex failures and drive root‑cause resolution Exposure to Generative AI / AI agents / agentic automation in enterprise or production settings Strong communication, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills Pay and Benefits Pay Range Minimum: $ 120000 per Year Pay Range Maximum: $ 1400000 Per Year HCLTec is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
