*Job Summary*
EV Solar is hiring an experienced Medium Voltage (MV) Electrical Foreman to lead customer-side MV work on large, ground-mounted solar projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows medium voltage work, values safety, and wants clear authority in the field
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead and perform medium voltage electrical work (typically 5kV–35kV) on utility-scale solar projects
* Supervise MV crews and coordinate daily work activities
* Install and oversee underground and overhead MV systems, including transformers, switches, grounding, and terminations
* Coordinate MV activities with low-voltage crews, civil teams, and project management
* Serve as the on-site MV safety lead and enforce energized work protocols
* Perform and support MV testing, inspections, commissioning, and energization
* Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
* Maintain accurate field documentation and provide clear feedback to the project team
*Work Requirements*
* 8–10+ years of medium voltage electrical or utility distribution experience
* Prior experience as a Foreman, Lead, or Supervisor on MV projects
* Strong knowledge of MV systems, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams
* Commitment to safety, quality, and professional field execution
* Class F Crane / digger derrick certification
* OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid driver’s license
* Willingness to travel and work outdoors on active construction sites
*Preferred*
* Solar or power generation project experience
* NFPA 70E Electrical Safety certification
* First Aid / CPR
* CDL

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
