*About the Role*
Under the general direction of the pharmacist-in-charge, the pharmacist intern will perform a wide variety of functions to support the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients of Zeal, including order management, reimbursement, fulfillment, and customer service.
*Responsibilities*
· Assist pharmacy staff members with front-end operational activities, including prescription data entry, prior authorization support, patient and physician phone calls, and adjudication of claims.
· Participate in the fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate dispensing of medications.
· Assist members of pharmacy staff with additional projects and activities, including audit review, contract management, marketing, and clinical pathway development.
· Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of service.
· Other projects as assigned by pharmacy management
*Qualifications*
* Good standing in an accredited School of Pharmacy, entering P1 year or above, with valid Pennsylvania pharmacist intern license
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 40 per week
