Your Challenge

Join our team in Eppelheim and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of packaging quality and food safety.

At ADM, you will contribute to delivering excellence to our customers while driving innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across our packaging processes. The Quality Department is dedicated to identifying and eliminating potential risks that may impact the quality of final products. Its mission is to ensure that all processes and requirements of the quality management system are properly implemented and maintained, in order to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.

Your Focus

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and food safety of packaging materials and processes, aligning with ADM's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Your role focuses on developing and implementing packaging quality standards in line with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements. By continuously monitoring and optimizing packaging materials and processes - while collaborating closely with the Global Packaging Team - you aim to reduce customer complaints and improve overall performance. You also ensure supplier compliance through structured audit systems, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and manage packaging-related quality issues effectively to enable rapid resolution and long-term prevention. Accurate documentation and reporting are critical to identifying risks early, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations (including PPWR), and supporting audit readiness.


  • PPWR - Implementation, Ensuring Compliance and Fulfilling Regulatory Requirements
  • SAP Data Management and PPWR Reporting - Develop and manage master data, define interfaces, generate reports, prepare documentation for audits and regulatory authorities
  • Develop a centralized Packaging Database - and integrate packaging specifications, ensure proper documentation
  • Incoming Goods Inspection - Establish quality inspection systems, define inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and escalation procedures, ensure traceability and database integration
  • Supplier Audits and Quality Assurance - Plan and conduct supplier audits, evaluate performance and implement improvement actions , ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 15378, and GMP standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - as the key contact for packaging-related quality and food safety topics, collaborate with the Global Packaging Management Team on technical requirements
  • Develop Quality Agreements in collaboration - Ensure alignment and efficiency across departments, manage packaging-related claims in collaboration with Procurement, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve product

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Technology or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in food safety and quality management, preferably in packaging
  • Proven experience in managing packaging projects and processes
  • Strong knowledge of packaging regulations and compliance requirements
  • Certification in quality management is a plus
  • Experience in audits and quality inspections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
