The HVAC lead installer will work under the direct supervision of the project manager to perform all aspects of commercial HVAC installation. This position will be able to lead a crew, work unsupervised during the day, read blueprints, install equipment, and communicate with the GC on a daily basis.
*Responsibilities*
* Installation, relocation, and of complete HVAC systems. Mostly rooftop units, split systems, exhaust fans, etc.
* Installation of exhaust fans, louvers, gas piping, and other HVAC related equipment and ductwork.
* Be self-motivated and be able to make decisions that affect the project.
* Assist in the fabrication and installation of minor sheet metal work and ducting.
* Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
* Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc.
*Necessary Skills and Expertise*
* Good communication skills with customers and employees. Willing to help train helpers as needed.
* Eagerness to lead and teach others the trade when necessary.
* Good driving record and reliable transportation
* Ky. Journeyman license a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
* HVAC: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
* EPA Type II (Preferred)
