Select Bank is seeking a Junior Network Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and securing the organization’s network infrastructure. The position covers a wide range of hands‑on duties, including installing and configuring network equipment, performing system updates, troubleshooting connectivity issues, monitoring network performance, and providing technical support to end users. The individual will also assist with documentation, IT audits, and cross‑departmental technology needs related to compliance.
The Network Administrator will work as part of a small, collaborative IT team and report directly to VP Information Technology. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to both daily operations and long‑term technology initiatives.
*Core Job Responsibilities*
· Install, configure, and maintain network equipment to support hardware and software functionality.
· Perform routine maintenance, including software installations, system patching, and hardware upgrades to ensure optimal network performance.
· Monitor network activity, manage firewalls, and oversee user access to maintain strong security across all systems.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and related technical problems.
· Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system changes, and support activities; utilize an IT ticketing system to track changes.
· Provide technical support to end users for network‑related issues and system access.
· Manage and support computer networks and systems, including software, VPNs, routers, switches, and other physical hardware.
· Update and maintain antivirus and security tools to protect organizational data and communications.
· Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve network efficiency and reliability.
· Communicate network issues, updates, and best practices to employees and management, including assisting with onboarding and training new users.
· Diagnose and resolve software and hardware configuration issues for users, whether reported or discovered through system review.
· Assist with IT‑related audits and examinations by gathering required documentation, policies, and procedures.
· Occasional after‑hours work may be required.
· Travel to remote sites is necessary; a bank‑provided vehicle will be available.
Pay: $53,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
