The Mobile Crisis Response
Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Mobile Crisis Response Unit. This role ensures efficient coordination of communication, documentation, onboarding, and departmental processes while maintaining compliance with agency standards and community partnerships. The Mobile Crisis Response
Program Assistant handles incoming and outgoing communication in a timely manner on behalf of the Mobile Crisis Response Unit. They maintain accurate crisis documentation systems and prepare reports for the Director. They assist with the onboarding process for new staff, including managing departmental databases, spreadsheets, and files. They organize department meetings, secure dates, prepare materials, and record and distribute meeting minutes. They review and prepare documents for internal and external meetings, ensuring agendas and notes are distributed promptly. They format and create documents, spreadsheets, reports, memos, presentations, and graphics using Microsoft Office. They maintain department records and electronic filing systems. They manage projects, assist with audits, and maintain compliance documentation. They provide excellent customer service to staff, participants, and community partners. They coordinate internal and external document delivery and communication across departments. They maintain department office supplies, complete vouchers, and process purchase orders by established deadlines. They send reminders to staff regarding calendar events, training, and compliance requirements. They update community resource binders for linkage and referrals. They check MCRU emails, voicemails, and faxes daily to ensure proper routing of documentation for follow-up services. They submit required departmental documentation (timesheets, mileage, etc.) per agency protocol. They maintain departmental compliance schedules and assist with audits. They complete all required trainings, including Federal, IDHS, Agency Core Curriculum, and Mandated Reporter courses. They perform all other duties and projects as assigned. They travel to other locations as needed. Employees are expected to use a trauma-informed approach emphasizing the "5 S's": Safety

Practice personal well-being to prevent burnout and manage secondary stress. Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous administrative assistance experience required. Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Demonstrates understanding of Aunt Martha's 4-Step Performance Improvement process using the PDSA (Plan, Do, Study, Act) methodology. Maintains confidentiality, professionalism, and respect in all communications. Exhibits a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and quality service delivery. $17.00
