Job Description Summary
Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. Operates X-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes.Monday – Friday 4/10 hour shifts 7am – 530 pm with 1-2 possible late shifts a week.
Flexible call schedule (roughly 8 per month) varies with rotation.
•Knowledge of EPIC software
•Familiar with PACS archiving
•Knowledge of Hybrid Siemens equipment/Advanced Vascular features & Troubleshooting (Pheno/Zeego)
•Knowledge of Siemens Portable C-arm functions to include digital subtraction, road mapping, measurements etc.
•Familiar with Vascular supplies to include balloons, diagnostic catheters, wires, sheaths etc.

Perform routine diagnostic radiographs and are responsible for performing minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist and/or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor while Radiologic Technologists III independently perform the most complex technical and/or invasive procedures.
Additional Job Description
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Experience: At least two years of modality specific work experience required. Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Skill Set: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
