We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for clients. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, styling, and color services, ensuring that each client leaves feeling satisfied and confident. Your expertise in barbering techniques and hair styling will be essential in helping us maintain our reputation for excellence.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
* Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in hair care and styling techniques to provide innovative services.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
* Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing transactions.
* Assist in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
* Mentor junior stylists or apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge in barbering techniques.
* Implement effective store management practices to ensure smooth operations within the salon.
*Skills*
* Proficient in barbering techniques and hair styling with a strong understanding of color theory.
* Experience with hair extensions is a plus.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and sales tracking.
* Ability to mentor others, fostering a collaborative environment within the salon.
* Familiarity with salon software for efficient appointment scheduling and client management.
* Retail sales experience is beneficial for promoting products and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per week
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
