Graduate/Junior Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Supporting electrical design for control systems (assisting with full drawing packages for manufacture) Working on large-scale infrastructure and automation projects Assisting with site surveys for refurbishment projects (with support) Collaborating with panel builders, senior engineers, and electrical contractors Opportunity to gain exposure to commissioning activities (optional and supported)
This is a development-focused role where you will be mentored by experienced engineers and gradually take on more responsibility as your skills grow.
Graduate/Junior Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
Degree or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline 0–2 years’ experience (including placements or internships) Some exposure to electrical design software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN – training provided) Interest in control systems / automation Willingness to learn, adaptable, and proactive Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
PLC knowledge or programming exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.
