If you are excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us. Design systems are a core feature of Figma’s tools. The Design Systems Management team aims to make design systems easy to understand, access, and consume so users can efficiently bring their visions to reality. This team owns the core data model of design systems libraries and how they’re accessed, subscribed to, and surfaced across teams. It also supports how people find and use design systems, from starting with pre-made components on day one to accessing the design system at the right moments once in place. This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States. What you'll do at Figma
Manage and support a team of experienced engineers to drive design systems usage across Figma’s product suite, with a goal of growing the team in 2026 Partner with product and design leadership to set the strategy, priorities, and mission for the team and roadmap Provide technical leadership of the team, including supporting technical decisions and growth of team members Build a collaborative culture by mentoring, shaping team practices, and guiding the team towards meaningful work Grow your career in a collaborative and creative engineering community We’d love to hear from you if you have
4+ years of engineering management experience, including 2+ years of manager of manager experience 8+ years of product engineering experience Built high-performing and highly engaged engineering teams through hiring and people development Proven track record of building and shipping beloved, high-quality products A deep passion for design craft and usability Nice to have
Experience building in especially complex product spaces, with goals of making the product simple and usable Compensation and Benefits
Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub): $250,000 - $350,000 USD Figma offers equity and a competitive benefits package, including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave & reproductive or family planning support, mental health & wellness benefits, generous PTO, learning & development stipend, work-from-home stipend, and cell phone reimbursement. Compensation and benefits are subject to change. For roles based in San Francisco or New York, this role has the stated base salary range. For remote roles, pay is localized to the employee’s work location (between 80% and 100% of the range). Figma is an equal opportunity employer.
