*Job Overview*
Friendly Auto Group is seeking a self-motivated, driven individual to join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As an Automotive Technician, you will have the opportunity to bill for *over* 40 hours' worth of work in a 40-hour work week and you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of automotive systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
* Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
* Conduct thorough vehicle assessments to provide accurate auto estimates for repairs.
* Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively in the repair process.
* Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
*Skills*
* Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Proficiency in automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
* Experience with vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
* Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide accurate repair quotes.
* Ability to operate power tools safely in a workshop environment.
* Excellent customer service skills to enhance client relationships and satisfaction.
* Previous experience working in a dealership setting is preferred but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
