On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Design Concession Approver on an initial 5-month contract. As the Design Concession Approver You will be responsible for leading design investigations and formulating technical solutions for Manufacturing Non-Conformances and Design Investigations ensuring that all Design, Airworthiness and safety requirements are met. Where appropriate you will also liaise with other functions to ensure a fully integrated design solution.
Role: Design Concession Approver Pay: £46 - £52 per hour Via Umbrella Location: Broughton Contract: Monday - Friday 35 Hours per week, 5 Months contract IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities
You will operate as a lead design engineer and must hold design approval signatory in particular formanufacturing non-conformances (T200). You will also act as a focal point in leading and providingguidance on technical issues and governance and will support technical mentoring for engineeringteam members. A high level of energy is required to drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through methods, process and other improvements, where applicable ensuring a robust lesson learnt and feedback process is maintained.
