We are seeking a Sale Intern to support our sales and renewals operations by assisting the team across a variety of tasks. This role offers the opportunity to build foundational business skills while learning from experienced professionals with decades of industry knowledge. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the sales and renewals team in meeting revenue and churn goals. You will actively participate in the sales and renewals process by creating quotes, processing renewal orders, and responding to questions from customers and resellers. Additionally, you will gain experience using Salesforce as a CRM tool and assist the sales team in a variety of projects. What You'll Do
Responsible for entering the key order terms (e.g. - product SKU, quantity, cost, effective date, purchaser, end-user, etc.) into Salesforce for an estimated 300-450 monthly orders ranging in complexity due to product mix and reseller involvement. Working from an assigned list of accounts will be responsible for generating, creating, and sending renewal quotes from Salesforce.
Attention to detail of product, quantity, pricing, and contact (reseller/customer) is essential. Responsible for timely responses to general inquires that come into the Renewals email alias inbox and as assigned (e.g.
providing contract expiration date, order completion confirmation, etc.) Assist the sales team in triaging emails from the sales inbox to specific account managers and territory managers Assist the sales team with gathering customer information, license allocations and any pertinent information needed to fulfill orders The Person We're Looking For
Currently in college or recently graduated; Business, Marketing or Communications degree is preferred Experience in the use of Excel and MS Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organization Comfortable with reaching out to customers via phone and email Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Curiosity and willingness to learn Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and excited to grow.
