*Job Description*:
We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Veterinary Assistant (VA)
who is passionate about animal care. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service
and possess robust handling, diagnostics, and surgical support skills.
*Responsibilities*:
Deliver exceptional service to pet owners.
Assist with surgeries, dental procedures, and anesthetics; handle digital X-rays.
Perform lab work and sample collection including venipuncture and cystocentesis.
Administer treatments like SQ fluids and vaccinations and ensure a clean and
organized clinic environment.
Efficiently manage medical records using correct medical terminology.
Contribute positively to team dynamics, ensuring effective communication and
emotional intelligence.
*Qualifications*:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a small animal veterinary practice is preferred.
Certification as a Veterinary Technician or substantial experience as a Veterinary
Assistant.
*Work Hours & Benefits*:
The full-time position requires some Saturday shifts; we are closed on Sundays.
