We are seeking a CRO Lead to establish and scale a best-in-class Conversion Rate Optimization practice for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) eCommerce business. As a Powersports OEM, our eCommerce experience supports complex customer journeys-spanning parts & accessories, apparel research, fitment, financing, dealership integration, and post-purchase ownership.
This role will own conversion strategy, experimentation, and continuous optimization across our Magento (Adobe Commerce) platform, leveraging the experimentation and personalization stack. The CRO Lead will operate at the intersection of customer insight, data, UX, and revenue growth, turning insight into measurable impact.
This is a hands-on practice leadership role responsible for defining the CRO roadmap, building experimentation discipline, and partnering closely with UX, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Merchandising and Product teams.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Build the CRO Practice
Define and own the CRO vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with DTC revenue targets, customer experience, and business goals
Establish CRO as a core business capability, including processes, governance, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics
Identify high-impact optimization opportunities across key funnels
Balance quick-win experimentation with long-term UX and platform improvements
Lead Experimentation & Testing
Lead A/B, multivariate, and personalization experiments using our CRO tool
Develop clear hypotheses grounded in data, behavioral insights, and customer research
Own experiment design, QA, execution, analysis, and recommendations
Ensure statistical rigor, test validity, and clear interpretation of results
Scale learnings across platforms, journeys, and markets
Oversee Data, Insights & Analytics
Partner with Analytics teams to define and track conversion KPIs
Use qualitative and quantitative inputs (GA4, Content Square. VoC via Qualtrics…)
Translate data into actionable insights and business cases
Platform & Technical Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams on Magento (Adobe Commerce) capabilities, constraints, and enhancements
Ensure experimentation and personalization are implemented cleanly, securely, and at scale
Partner on technical SEO, performance optimization, and mobile-first experiences
Influence roadmap decisions with CRO-driven insights
UX, Personalization & Customer Experience
Collaborate with UX and Design to optimize:
Navigation and information architecture
Product discovery and merchandising
Trust, confidence, and clarity for high-consideration purchases
Leverage Optimizely personalization to deliver relevant experiences based on behavior, lifecycle stage, and customer intent
Advocate for data-driven design decisions while respecting brand and regulatory requirements
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Experience in Ecommerce in a similar role
Experience and abilities to build and scale a CRO practice
Strong knowledge of A/B Testing and personalization use cases
Strong knowledge of Analytics (GA4, Content Square, etc.)
Strong knowledge of UX-and usability testing
Rigorous methodological approach for high-quality and valid testing (statistics, writing, monitoring, QA)
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Business acumen and proven record of strong stakeholder management skills
