Working Student in Group Strategy (f/m/d)

We are 50Hertz – one of the four transmission system operators (TSO) in Germany. Together with the Belgian electricity grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, over 2,100 employees ensure that electricity flows over long distances reliably, with minimal loss, and optimally managed. As a TSO, we play a central role in the implementation of the energy transition from a technical and economic perspective, acting as a facilitator. Our goal is to integrate 100 percent renewable energy into the grid and system securely and affordably by 2032.

Your tasks:

• Support the CIO Office in structuring and driving the IT reorganisation journey, including the definition and application of a Federated IT Model and its guiding principles,
• Support Program Managers and Change Managers in the execution of the transformation, including:
  • Coordinating and preparing liaison meetings with key stakeholders,
  • Facilitating bilateral meetings with stakeholders,
  • Taking notes and producing meeting minutes,
  • Organising and sending meeting invitations,
  • Designing high quality presentations that clearly convey key messages and tell a compelling story,
• Contribute to clear communication, alignment, and transparency across stakeholders involved in the transformation,
• Direct exposure to senior stakeholders and hands on experience in strategy execution, change management, and IT transformation at Group and local levels.

• Are passionate about the energy transition,
• Work independently and take responsibility for your tasks,
• Proactively challenge and propose ideas,
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (ppt, excel, word, ...,)
• Have experience with MIRO (considered a plus),
• Have very good English (C1) and good German skills (B2) in both written and spoken form.
