Quality Assurance Representative
First America Homes (FAH) is the homebuilding division for The Signorelli Company (TSC), a vertically integrated, diversified real estate company based in The Woodlands, TX. Established in 1994, TSC has experience in all the aspects of real estate that make up master planned communities including land development, commercial, mixed-use, office, medical, outdoor hospitality, multi-family, and single-family development. FAH is currently one of the fastest growing privately held homebuilders in the State of Texas with a presence across all four quadrants of the greater Houston area, the San Antonio market, and still growing. The Quality Assurance Representative is responsible for inspecting new home construction during the pre-drywall phase and just before closing to ensure all products meet established quality standards. This role also includes reviewing and reporting on completed Stage 10 Homes. Additionally, the QA Rep will assist in training personnel within the construction department. Essential Job Responsibilities: Knowledge of residential home building and residential inspections Ensuring that homes adhere to quality standards Preparing reports, analyzing, and summarizing data Create quality measurements to track progress Adhere to industry quality and safety standards Travel is required from one location to another. This may exceed 100 miles per day. Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing Analyze and investigate quality issues to ensure resolution in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final inspection so the products are up to company standards Work closely with the construction and sales team Performs other projects and related duties as assigned. It is not an act, but a habit. Experience & Skills: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of building codes and certification is a plus. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional manners and a strong ethical code. Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive. Commitment to working efficiently and accurately. Ability to build positive working relationships with team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
