CDL A Delivery Driver, Night shift

Performance Foodservice, a leading food distributor delivering more than 150,000 food and food-related products nationwide, is seeking a safety-focused CDL A Delivery Driver for our night shift in {JOB-CITY}, {JOB-STATE}. As part of our Transportation & Logistics team, you will play a critical role in accurately and safely delivering foodservice products to a variety of customers, from independent restaurants to national chain accounts. Operating a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on established overnight routes, you will load, unload, and deliver products using a handheld system, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring all cases are delivered on time and in excellent condition. This physically demanding role requires frequent lifting, bending, and navigating tight spaces, as well as professional interaction with customers at each stop. You will inspect your equipment daily, follow all DOT and company safety procedures, maintain accurate delivery and log documentation, and report any issues affecting product quality, customer service, or vehicle performance. In line with Performance Foodservice’s team-oriented, customer-focused culture, you will work closely with dispatch, warehouse staff, and fellow drivers to resolve route issues, improve delivery efficiency, and uphold our high service standards. Night shift schedules typically begin in the late afternoon or evening and run through the night, so reliability, time management, and comfort working overnight hours are essential.
