CDL A Delivery Driver, Night shift

Performance Foodservice, a leading national food distributor delivering over 150,000 food and food-related products, is seeking a safety-focused CDL A Delivery Driver for our night shift in {JOB-CITY}, {JOB-STATE}. As part of our Transportation & Logistics team, you will play a critical role in delivering food and supplies to a variety of customers, from independent restaurants to regional and national chains, while providing exceptional customer service at every stop. Operating late-model tractors and refrigerated trailers, you will safely transport, unload, and verify products on multi-stop routes, often using lift gates, hand trucks, and pallet jacks to move product into customer locations. Typical duties include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, following all DOT and company safety procedures, accurately checking orders against invoices, managing delivery paperwork and electronic logging devices, handling returns and shortages, and ensuring product is rotated and handled to food safety standards. This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of cases that may weigh 50–75 pounds or more, navigating ramps, stairs, and tight delivery areas while working efficiently and safely during overnight hours.
