VakifBank is modernizing its Data Infrastructure landscape and intends to expand its data capabilities. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Data Manager / Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in our journey to modernize our reporting capabilities.
In this dual-role of Data Manager (DM) and Data Analyst (DA), you will be a driving force in establishing a unified Data Warehouse (DWH) and implementing reporting systems on top of it. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying data requirements, performing data cleansing and transformation, and crafting a new data model to ensure a seamless transition.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend data needs and requirements of the new reporting systems
- Conduct comprehensive data mapping / documentation exercises between the core banking platform and the DWH
- Oversee data cleansing and transformation efforts to ensure the accuracy and quality of the data
- Design a robust and efficient new data model that aligns with the needs of the modernized reporting system
- Collaborate with IT teams to oversee the ETL processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Contribute to the enhancement of the DWH by analysing the data and identifying potential improvements post go-live
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Manager or Data Analyst, preferably in the banking or financial sector. Minimum 3 years of banking experience; otherwise a minimum of 5 years of experience in other sectors
- In-depth understanding of data management principles, data mapping, data quality management / cleansing, and data transformation
- Familiarity with core banking systems, Data Warehousing, and data modelling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication skills in English (German and Turkish are considered as plus) and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams

- The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 3,475.01 (full-time), in accordance with the collective agreement. The actual compensation will be higher than the collective agreement minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience
