MRI Technologist Nights

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and technically skilled MRI Technologist for our night shift within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As an integral member of our imaging team, you will provide high-quality MRI examinations for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Working with advanced MRI equipment, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring accurate image acquisition and optimal diagnostic quality. You will prepare and position patients, explain procedures clearly, screen for safety and contraindications, and monitor patients throughout exams, prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety at all times. The role requires careful adherence to MRI safety standards for patients, staff, and equipment, including thorough screening for implants and devices, proper use of contrast agents, and emergency readiness. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support timely diagnosis and treatment, communicate any urgent or critical findings promptly, and respond effectively to changing clinical needs overnight. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate electronic health records and imaging documentation, verifying orders, entering exam details, and following departmental and regulatory guidelines. You will participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, help troubleshoot equipment issues, and support continuous improvement to enhance workflow and patient care.
