We are currently looking for an AV Telephone Support Technician to join our Northampton team. The job will involve providing telephone and email support of Audio Visual equipment to customers around the UK.
As a Support Technician based within our service desk team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support, over a range of AV manufacturers, resolving issues for both technical and non-technical end-users, via remote sessions and some on-site based attendances.
*Duties & Responsibilities will include:*
* Providing high quality 1st/2nd line support services via telephone, remote and occasional onsite sessions
* Deal with queries relating to desktop systems, servers and networks for Audio Visual Equipment
* Administer, escalate and prioritise tickets where necessary
* Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktop computers
* Ensuring asset registers are maintained
*Required skills & Experience*
* Experienced IT Technician
* Microsoft 365 environments including Azure AD and Intune
* Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving skills
* Organised with the ability to self-prioritise
* Microsoft 365, Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, WAN/LAN/WLAN/Point-to-Point Networking, Networking knowledge of HP/Aruba equipment
* Excellent communication, customer services and inter-personal skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
Advantageous
* Full/Clean UK Driving Licence
* DBS Checked (Enhanced Disclosure)
* Software Development Accreditations
The ideal candidate will live around the Northampton area. Ideally have some experience of AV and electronics together with excellent IT skills, organisational and communication skills, be hardworking, reliable and hold a clean driving licence.
