We are supporting a policing organisation in the search for an experienced Network Engineer to join on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension. This role will suit a hands-on Network Engineer with strong experience across Cisco networking and FortiGate Firewalls within secure policing or constabulary environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise LAN infrastructure within a secure policing environment Configure and administer Cisco Switches and switching infrastructure Manage and support FortiGate Firewall environments Maintain and troubleshoot Firewall policies, rules and connectivity issues Support network changes, upgrades and incident resolution across secure environments Work closely with internal teams to ensure network performance, resilience and security Assist with documentation, network diagrams and operational procedures Provide support across both BAU and project activity Essential Experience Strong experience as a Network Engineer within a policing, constabulary or similarly secure environment Proven experience with Cisco netw...
