Job Summary We are hiring an Associate Engineer – Security to support our cybersecurity engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity who are looking to build hands‑on experience in secure systems and software development.
Responsibilities
Support security engineering initiatives, including system hardening and vulnerability analysis
Assist in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents
Develop and maintain secure applications and tools using C/C++
Work within Linux environments for system configuration, troubleshooting, and security enhancements
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to implement security best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
Required Qualifications
Strong programming skills in C/C++
Hands‑on experience or academic exposure to Linux/Unix systems
Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts (network security, secure coding, cryptography, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field
Degree from Georgia Tech or similar top‑tier cybersecurity program
Internship, research, or academic project experience in cybersecurity
Familiarity with security tools or penetration testing concepts
Work Setup Hybrid role with possibly 1 to 2 days work from home depending on the project needs
