Key Responsibilities
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and best practices aligned with organizational goals and industry standards
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for cloud‑based and web applications
Perform functional, regression, end‑to‑end, performance, security, and usability testing
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability
Conduct API testing using REST endpoints to validate backend services
Monitor, triage, and resolve production incidents, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
Perform root cause analysis for defects and production issues and implement preventive measures
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high‑quality deliverables
Track and report defects, test metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation capabilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in software testing/QA
Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering
Hands‑on experience with web application testing in cloud environments
Proficiency in API testing (RESTful services)
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including logs and storage services
Knowledge of automotive systems testing, including CAN signals and embedded integration testing
Familiarity with vehicle electrical concepts (e.g., PWM, logic gates)
Experience with test‑driven development (TDD) or similar practices
