Job Summary Highly experienced IT Project Manager to support enterprise IT security and compliance initiatives. The role is best suited for a seasoned, detail-oriented project manager with strong follow-through, executive level communication skills, and a proven track record managing high-visibility, compliance-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
Ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.
Manage the scope of the projects and resolve any issue that may hinder project success.
Execute an appropriate communications plan and ensure that processes and methodologies are adhered to.
Manage risk and budget reporting and tracking, and assist senior project managers in collective project tracking.
Lead and manage enterprise IT security and compliance projects, including multi-phase, multi-year initiatives.
Take ownership of an in-flight project, ensuring scope, schedule, milestones, risks, and action items are actively managed.
Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and issues; proactively escalating concerns to project owners and stakeholders.
Drive accountability across matrixed and shared resource teams without direct people-management authority.
Prepare and distribute clear agendas, meeting notes, and status updates with strong attention to timing and detail.
Ensure project execution aligns with PMO governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
Serve as a bridge between business and IT, helping translate objectives, risks, and impacts as needed.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, ensuring quality customer service.
Abide by all policies, rules, and regulations of the company, including applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures.
Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
Qualifications
5–7 years of dedicated project management experience (project management core role).
BA or BS Degree preferred; PMP Certification – required.
Demonstrated experience managing large, high-impact, enterprise initiatives.
Experience operating within regulated or compliance-driven environments.
Proven ability to work with and present to senior leadership (Director/VP level).
Strong history of tenure and stability in prior roles (frequent short-term moves may be considered a red flag).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good understanding of FEI and its business operations/practices.
Strong PC skills; experience with MS Project.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies.
Possess good, general business and technical knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of associates.
Proactive approach to the job.
Facilitation – able to work within a group/team environment.
Methodology & Approach
Waterfall → Hybrid delivery; not Agile-heavy.
Familiarity with PMO methodologies, governance, and compliance processes.
Tools & Technology
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Smartsheet (important).
SharePoint (basic document management).
Not required: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Power BI.
Preferred Background
IT or compliance background.
Ability to translate between business and IT stakeholders.
Enterprise PMO exposure.
