We are looking for strong Licensed Veterinary Technician candidates to join our growing practice. Our employees need to be able to adapt quickly and efficiently to challenges as they present themselves. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills, excellent client service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Applicants should be friendly, outgoing, reliable, able to prioritize and multi-task, take initiative/self-motivated, communicate effectively, problem solve, be a team player, and have great attention to detail. This position does include working every other Saturday.
Job duties include but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, monitoring patients under anesthesia, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, effective and professional communication of treatment plans with clients via phone, and utilization of various computer software/applications/programs.
