We are seeking a full time Mobile/Workshop HGV Technician to complement our current Workshop team.
*As a Mobile HGV Technician you will:*
· Attend on site and off-site breakdowns.
· Attend out of hours call outs on a rota basis.
· Undertake fast and accurate fault diagnosis using problem solving skills and also diagnostic equipment.
· Carry out routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with VOSA and manufacturer's recommendations.
· Complete safety checks and prepare vehicles for MOT's.
A service van will be provided to the successful applicant. Training courses can be provided where required based on experience.
*It is key that you have following knowledge and skills:*
· Have good technical knowledge ensuring repairs are carried out in a safe and responsible manner.
· Have exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
· Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
· Have skills to follow company processes for completing all paperwork including accurate completion of job cards and service records.
· High levels of customer service.
· Ability to work with our Service Reception Team in a professional manner.
· Keep all workshop facilities, equipment and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· HGV Class 1 licence beneficial but not essential.
*Summary*
Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience. Overtime rates applicable for extra hours worked. Overtime readily available.
*Shift pattern - 8.30 am – 17:30 pm Monday – Friday - On Call Rota*

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
