Surgical Technologist

Boston Children's Hospital, a leading pediatric institution dedicated to comprehensive medical care, innovative research, and educating healthcare professionals, is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will work in state-of-the-art operating rooms, supporting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses in providing safe, high-quality surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents. You will prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment, ensure sterile technique, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and assist with instruments, supplies, and specialized pediatric devices throughout procedures. You will verify and maintain sterile fields, count instruments and sponges, handle specimens according to protocol, and help maintain accurate documentation. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will actively contribute to our mission-driven practice focused on patient safety, quality outcomes, and family-centered care. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across disciplines to support complex cases, participate in ongoing training and competency development, and help implement best practices and innovations in pediatric surgery.
