À propos

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiology and CT Tech to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting high-quality diagnostic imaging across our hospitals and clinics. In this role, you will perform routine and advanced radiographic and CT examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. You will prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, verify patient identity and exam orders, and follow ALARA principles to ensure safe and effective use of ionizing radiation. Using modern digital radiography and CT equipment, you will acquire high-quality images, optimize imaging protocols, and utilize PACS and RIS to document, store, and transmit exam data accurately. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to coordinate imaging procedures, clarify clinical indications, and respond to urgent and emergent imaging needs. Compassionate, patient-centered care is essential, including explaining procedures, addressing concerns, monitoring patients during and after contrast administration, and recognizing and responding to any signs of adverse reactions or clinical deterioration. You will follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards at all times, maintain accurate documentation, and support a safe, efficient imaging environment. As part of Intermountain Health’s culture of excellence, compassion, and integrity, you will participate in continuous quality improvement, assist with equipment quality control checks, and help implement best practices to enhance image quality, reduce repeat exams, and improve patient throughput. You will support onboarding and informal mentoring of new team members and students when needed, and collaborate in a highly team-oriented environment that values respect, clear communication, and dependability. Intermountain Health offers a collaborative and innovative workplace where Radiology and CT Techs are encouraged to expand their skills, cross-train, and participate in ongoing education related to new imaging techniques, protocols, and technologies. This position is ideal for a radiologic technologist who is committed to patient safety and satisfaction, thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, and is motivated to grow professionally within a leading not-for-profit health system dedicated to serving the community.
