Radiographer

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a non-profit healthcare system based in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a skilled Radiographer to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations for patients of all ages, supporting our commitment to exceptional care quality and community health improvement. Working closely with radiologists, providers, nurses, and other members of the care team, you will operate radiographic equipment to capture clear and accurate images, verify patient identity, review orders for appropriateness, and position patients safely and comfortably to achieve optimal imaging outcomes. The Radiographer is responsible for adhering to established imaging protocols, applying radiation protection techniques, and following all regulatory and accreditation standards to ensure patient and staff safety. You will assess patients before, during, and after procedures, explain imaging processes in a compassionate and understandable manner, and respond appropriately to any changes in patient condition. The role also includes maintaining exam rooms and equipment in a clean, functional, and ready state; documenting procedures, contrast use, and patient information accurately in the electronic health record; and assisting with quality control checks, equipment troubleshooting, and coordination of service when needed.
