Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatologist to join our expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-acuity medicine in a supportive, autonomous environment within a hospital system that is deeply invested in growing its Women's & Children's services.

Comprehensive Clinical Exposure

• 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)

• 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 15)

• ~3,500 annual deliveries

• Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)

• Advanced therapies: body cooling, oscillators, and a RN/RT-staffed regional transport team

Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Environment

Experienced NNPs, supportive OB hospitalists, MFM, and subspecialty telehealth coverage. Teaching opportunities with University of Central Florida family medicine residents.

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital - 523-bed, full-service facility. Modern, state-of-the-art NICU, opened in 2021. A hospital committed to expanding and elevating neonatal and maternity services.
